What Should I Know Before Getting A Thigh Lift?
Thigh Lifts Can’t Do it All. A thigh lift cannot remove all excess fat; tt primarily reduces excess skin. If you are concerned about significant fatty deposits, liposuction (or a combination of lift and liposuction) may give you better results, especially if your skin has good elasticity. Or you may need a two stage procedure to get you the look you want. Liposuction first then followed by a thigh lift to remove the remaining skin. Make a Plan For Recovery Time. Initial recovery will take about two weeks, and it will take about 8-12 weeks before you’re ready to resume all your favorite activities. You’ll need a friend or family member to help you for the first few days, so start thinking about that now.
You Can Hide the Scars. There is some scarring after a thigh lift, but it’s easy to hide. Most clothes won’t show the scars at all, and many bathing suits will hide the scars on your hips.
